If you ever come across that problem returning to the village and your people getting stuck, SAVE before returning, and slow down the cycles a lot. When you see that the scroll goes slower, then the people will know where to walk. You're welcome :)

After first city part, when you are awaited in the city, some of your clan people run in a building in an automated process and never come out and the game gets stuck because they never arrive where they should arrive.
