Here we Have 2 cases :

The Dos Version crashed when a battle between the chess pieces begin.

You can Run the windows Version inside Win3.x in dosbox. But you must configure a 256 video card, AudioCD and Sound Card inside windows3x. There is no sound during the battles. You must set the speed to 3000 or less if not the battles will be very fast.

To get Battle Chess Enhanced (MPC) working, you must do the following:

1. Select the correct SVGA video driver during installation. For nVidia graphics cards, use "Sigma". (I did not test ATI graphics.)

2. Mount the CD to enable in-game music and battle sounds.

Optionally, increase CPU cycles to around 9000.
