Using "sb1" fixes all sound problems. With "sbpro2" the sound glitches after a few levels/deaths.
At around 80000 cycles, the game runs fine.

Game runs still a bit slow. It is very resource demanding.
However, sound is finally fixed. Use "sbpro2" on sound settigs in the DOSBox conf. file. Some issues regarding clicks and noise within the program some times, but nothing major.
Using the default "sb16" makes sound run at double speed.

Here's a small roundup from a recent test.
*Runs slowly (as joshcoley2000 posted previously), it requires ~40000 cycles to at least be fairly playable.
*Sound plays at double speed on menus and normal gameplay, and it doesn't speed up when using the 'D' keypress in gameplay. Also sound is stuttering ocassionally and always lagged. Changing config file does not help.
*Everything else is pretty fine.
Ducks works flawlessly on normal environment under WinXP (no DosBox running). Although sound test succeeds, it is purely white noise.
Speed issue also applies to companion program, Ducks Editor Suite.
