I'd like to update my comment from two years ago:
Executioners (as well as Nogginknockers) CAN be run with sound! ...if you have the proper DRV files in your directories. SB.DRV, SB20.DRV, and SB16.DRV (depending on which card you're emulating) need to be in the root directory of the game for sound to be enabled.
The game runs perfectly, otherwise! |

I'd like to mention that I have been completely unable to run this game with sound turned on. At all. It works perfectly with the sound off, but refuses to work at all with the sound turned on. I even tried loading up the SBTalker driver that came with my original Sound Blaster audio card. No dice. This was a common error when running under DOS, as well, I remember. The sound just didn't register for some odd reason. I don't remember what I did way back then to get the game to work with sound, either. . .otherwise I'd just do that HERE, too. Anyway. . .sound aside, the game works flawlessly. |
