Some tips (2012-04-28 17:36) |

1.- If you hear no sound, sometimes it helps to delete the fb.cfg file too.
2.- If you get stuck in mission two after teleporting, it's because you are playing a badly "cracked" version of the game. Or it asked you for the copy protection and you didn't answer well. So bear in mind: Flashback, floppy version, asks you for the copy protection more than once in the game.
3.- The game already sounded that bad when it was released. If you have some doubt about it, check the videos of this game in youtube or similar. |

The soundblaster soundFX are not working well :-(
When I shoot, it sounds horrible and chubby and echos :-(
My sb settings are:
sbtype=sb16
sbbase=220
irq=5
dma=1
hdma=5
mixer=true
oplmode=auto
oplrate=22050
Could it be a problem that I have other soundscards configured? |

Not sure if this is a dosbox problem, after mission 2, you should be teleported back to the job centre. For me, the little teleport animation did show, but I remained stuck in the restricted area. |

1. after mount in dosbox execute install.exe and reselect Sound FX -> Sound Blaster, Musik -> Adlib / Sound blaster ... save settings and exit 2. run fb.exe and sound in movies and game will be ok.
I thought that the game running slow with the default installiation of bosbox 0.72. Possible need to configure something. But FlashBack (IBM PC) CD-ROM version run fine without any tuning. |

Game works fine with full sound support (SoundBlaster or MT32 music + SB sound effects)! |
