Hi Gazza
I was confused by this also, as I have a cd version that installs all the expansions and even has an update readme in the game folder that details the 1.2 patch
yet when the game starts it shows the number as 1.00cd and not 1.02e
I think however the 1.00cd version is the patched cd release and is different to the 1.0 first version.
there were some new key commands that the 1.2 patch brought so check if those work in your 1.00cd version (i assume yours will show as 1.00cd) |

I can install and run the game, however I cannot get it to run anything other than version 1.00 even though it appears to load and uncompress the expansion disks. What am I doing wrong ???? |

I've had no problems running GNBNA (with the expansion packs added - ergo GNBNA v1.2) on build 0.72! Time compression works better now (see below).
Before that I extensively played GNBNA on 0.68 and 0.70 with and without the expansion packs... The only problem I noted was with time compression in the game. The 1x, 2x, and 4x were all about the same slow speed (just a slight difference) and then 6x and 8x time were so fast you couldn't manage the game.
Under 0.72, with memsize 16, advmame2x, sbpro1, auto core, auto cycles, etc. it runs fabulously! |
