GK1 (CD version) crashes at certain particular places. For instance, when I enter Jackson square, it will freeze the moment a radio message comes in. Running it under a "heavy_debug"-version I get

Installs entire game to the hard drive for CD-less play. Includes all official Sierra patches and the NewRisingSun patch for the game's timer bugs. It is Vista and Windows 7 compatible and will work on 64-bit Windows.

GK1 is just running fine except that there's a quest at the cemetery where you need to place a message on the wall. It's not possible to reach the signs with the mousecurser, they are out of place. I don't know how to solve this problem. :-( Using DOSBox 0.73 on Linux and OS X. |

works well on my ibook 1.44 ghz os x 10.4, but only in full screen mode and with cpu cycle on auto. window mode is very slow, and changing to full screen in-game crashes the game. |

If you hear a loud hiss, instead of game music and sound, try changing the Gabriel Knight settings from Sound Blaster to Thunderboard, using the install program. |

Seems to be fully playable both with 0.61 and 0.62.
With 0.61 I had the problem that the game crashed quite often on day three, version 0.62 seems to work much better. |

You can get sound and voices to work in the CD version by opening the resource.cfg file in notepad and changing the audiosize value to 45k. |
