Mortal Kombat II initially run WAAAY too fast at 100% cpu cycle. The copyright goes so fast that I don't even have time to write the cheat code to enter the secret option. Decreasing to 50% will fix the speed issue. At this speed, I was able to input the secret option and beat the game. |

It's not stuck, it just doesn't show anything, you can press F1 or F2 and continue. |
|
|
The game freezes after one loss. (2010-04-25 03:46) |

The speed is at cpu=auto, and it chooses "max" when you play the game, and it's stuck.
Please, no bullshit solutions such as the previous one. |

I can never get any sound. Music works, graphics are not damaged in anyway, but I can't hear any sounds, at all. Like punching someone, for example. |

Ok here is the deal, you must delete a file with the name CMOS from the MK2 directory, use core in dynamic and cycles in max, now configure your soundblaster card and enjoy!

SET CPU CIRCLES: MAX, CORE: NORMAL, FOR THIS GAME WORKS WITH FX (SB) AND MUSIC (ROLAND) PERFECTLY. I'VE USED 0.72 DOXBOX VERSION. |

I have been running this game since 0.61 version, but the sound problem (SB & Roland, both not working)continue yet. This problem happened when somebody tried to run "MS Windows 3.1" (Sound Blaster Error, no fx). In 0.70 version, this problem in the "MS Windows" was solved.

I confirm TFF's post. No FX on dynamic core selecting ROLAND SCC & SB. The game forces port 210 for SB (when you go back to the menu) but that doesn't help either (if I set it from .dosboxrc). That's a pity, because dynamic core runs much faster than "normal". |

THE GAME RUNS PERFECTLY, BUT WHEN I SET DYNAMIC CYCLES, AND I TRY TO RUN THE GAME SETTING SOUND FX AND MUSIC(SOUND BLASTER & ROLANDO), FX SOUND DISABLE. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN TO BE DONE?
BECOUSE RUN THIS GAME USING SOUND BLASTER MUSIC, IT´S TOO BAD! |

In response to jackel (and anyone else this is happening to); the game actually isn't frozen. Its just running REALLY slowly. Up the cycles in the [cpu] section. I found that the default (3000) was way too low..and everything tht did play was choppy. ON my 1.5ghz AMD 1800+ 30,000 worked just fine..the game was fast and playable. |

Another test: P4 3.0ghz 1GBram Radeon9600 128MB, on main text screen you must wait a little long time to precced (one minute or less - it´s up to cpu and cycles). |

New test: game works ok, but runs too slow. But its playable if you set game details to low. PIII 800 512MBRAM. |
