if you are getting the error "Error while creating file: C:\MEGARACE\dune$$$$.$$$ Refused access" you will need to create the MEGARACE directory first before running the installation. |

7000 cycles NO! dont increase the cycles more than either 5000 or 4000 or this game will be way to easy and ull beat it in a short amount of time. Other wise this game works great on dos box |

I just played through Megarace a moment ago. From NewSan to Last. I didn't see anything terribly out of the ordinary. Once I popped the game up to 7,000 Cycles, it ran smoothly -- not too fast, not too slow -- and didn't give me any trouble whatsoever. The only in-game glitches I experienced were just that. In-game! Specifically, glitches that were IN the GAME to begin with.(Collision detection glitches, etc.) Oh, and before I forget, the sound stutters just a tiny bit(even in full-screen mode), and the pause function, though working, does not fade the screen to monochrome like it should. It also messes up the enemy car palettes once you unpause. Nothing game-hindering, though. |
