CD-Version
With DosBox 0.74-2, the scrolling is jerky when driving, but only for X axis moves.
The no CD version run smoothly but it's a shame because the CD Music is great.

I finally found out the issue was caused by the MM2 version I had and not by dosbox or a specific configuration. The version from abandonia website runs smooth :-) |

Same problem than Myloch, the game is choppy when driving, but only for X axis moves.
I tried a lot of different settings (output, frameskip, scaler, vsync, vga, core, cycles (from 3000 to 40000!)...).
The game rarely works fine but I don't understand why..
I have this problem since few versions and until 0.72. |

NO problems installing and starting the game... only one problem: screen always become jerky, is shaking during the race... this doesn't happen in menus and intro. Using normal sb16 sound and max quality ingame option settings. I have original Micromachines 2 Special edition cdrom (with track editor) ... I'm italian, bought in italy... so european version I think. I mounted cdrom like this: "mount d d:\ -t cdrom -label MICRO_M_2 -ioctl"

The game runs fine, make sure you have enough cycles and your CD-ROM mount command looks like this:
mount G "G:\" -t cdrom -usecd 1 -ioctl
Certain parameters may vary from your system, consult the README for more info.
Warning: CD Audio is set to VERY loud by the game itself, put it down by using the Windows Audio Controls.
