I installed a german/french version of the game and while the both Terror-missions and wreckage-missions work i cannot enter a enemy base w/o the game crashing. |

Hi, here is well working version http://old.independent-software.net/old-games/pc/Ufo_-_Enemy_Unknown_CD_Version.php . Download from the first link, then unzip the file. I`m using D-Fend Reloaded (find with google) with dosBox 0.74. Use the same sound settings in D-Fend as in game setup. Then launch game with UFOCD.BAT . Enjoy :) |

When I try to run this game I get very erratic emulation speed. When I set it to 100% everything is too fast - scrolling, rotating the geoscape etc. With 1%, it alternates between too slow and too fast. Any idea how to solve this? |

Could someone using an earlier version of DOSBox post their UFO.BAT file? The issue is for me is that this file is not being created at setup but I don't have another system to set it up on to examine & copy the file myself |

Floppy versions manually updated to v1.4 have corrupted sound. This is not DOSBox fault, but MicxroProse's. Use v1.0, v1.2 or the v1.4 version shipped with CD-ROM instead.
If you downloaded the game elsewhere, make sure it's not v1.4 before complaining of sound issues. |

Starts up and plays ok for the first couple of levels, then crashes. Same as with Dune 2, so I suspect this build is bad. |

This game ran nicely with 0.63 (Mac) but the mouse would stick sometimes and not move at all. When I updated to the 0.65, the mouse started working fine, but the game got a lot slower with the same settings as in the 0.63. Weird. I hope there's a solution for this. |

tried 0.65 & 0.63 versions. doesn't want to execute any exe, bat or com files exept setup.exe
When I try to execute full.bat or some other files I get such a message:
Illegal command: MODE
Illegal command: go
Can someone help me? |

Plays a little bit slow, but no problems under Mac OS X. Sound works good, but i had to slow done cycles to depress noises. |
