add to mount command "-t cdrom"
example:
mount d e: -t cdrom
where e is your cddrive(or VirtualCddrive)
c:moon>moon.exe has to work
if that isn´t work rename iso's to "disk1.iso' and so to "disk4.iso"

I don't think I understand how the dosbox works - I only downloaded the Software to play "Under a Killing Moon", but I only get the message that no CD Drive was found - my DOS-time is way too long ago, I can't remember it. How do I get the software running? |

Under A Killing Moon-DAY Change Does not play-Please Help (2019-12-30 01:34) |

I am asking if someone can help me here... I own the original 4 cd set of this game and using DosBox 0.74 latest version to play this game... the game runs great, I am playing the game by just a normal install to the hard disk and running Tex197 to start game. Strangest problem though is when the game video starts it completely skips the “Day Change” (the title of the day and day scroll) video and goes right to Tex Murphy flipping cards in his hat..... can someone please help me, is it a compatibility issue with DosBox? I really appreciate any support on this matter, Thank You. |

Playing the game from the harddisk (2007-02-21 11:45) |

To play the game from the harddisk, I copied the discs each to its own folder, and then mounted them as cdroms. It didn't work without labeling them DISK1, DISK2, etc. with -l. |

Under A Killing Moon -- Movement mode unplayably jerky (2006-12-20 06:10) |

Dialog scenes and Look Mode are OK, but movement mode is unplayable.
I have the original 4 CD-ROM boxed set. I copy them to four folders on my hard disk, and mount them as 4 CD-ROM drives. Install.exe I run from the first disk. That part works.
I downloaded a torrent with some instructions on how to get it working. It is available from www.demonoid.com.
But the instructions don't result in a playable game.
I'd like to post my settings here, but the form won't let me. |

The install goes pretty well but DOS4GW crashes at start of the game if you execute MOON.EXE.
The game run well if you copy from CD to game´s directory the file TEX197.EXE and execute it for play the game.
It´s needed to disable EMS memory from the config.file of DOSBox 0.62 (only needed XMS memory)
