Follow those simple steps:
1) Copy CUTS folder from cd-rom to your C:\gamefolder
2) Mount C C:\gamefolder
3) Mount D D:\ -t cdrom -ioctl
4) launch Z from your C mounted folder
It also load old saved games.

Firstly you need to assign your directory and cdrom!
1 Mount D D:\Games\Z [or] Mount C C:\Games\Z
2 Mount E E:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl [or] Mount D D:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl (please note only one of each letter assainged at once)
now to run game
3 D: [or] C:
4 Z
Game works :)
'Mount' = add. 'D' & 'E' = letter assainged, but typed as 'D:' & 'E:' in computer language. C D:Games\Z = Hard drive directory location, yours will likely be C:\Z or C:\Program files\Z. E:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl = letting dosbox know where your cdrom is and what version, yours will likely be D D:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl. |

Hi Guys. I have Z Bitmap working on XP with this program, using verison .65 it is magic. Tips make sure the CPU cycle to 10000+ to speed up the program, and edit the dosbox.conf file in your programs folder to create the mounts to the drive and cd-rom. (so you dont have to do it each time you run the program). For example
[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
mount C c:\dosbox
mount x d:\ -t cdrom
c:
cd z
call z.bat
