OK, there are several versions of this game floating around:
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles --> Conversion of the NES platformer.
- Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles --> Same game, UK version.
Og these two, only the UK version is playable through the end without cheats. In the US version there's a buggy stage (3-6, I think) that cannot be completed. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDurUuIUiWo
It *may* be possible to fix the US version by copying over the offending files from the UK version. I've never tried it.
Finally, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Coin-Op! / The Arcade Game" is a whole different game. It was released a year after and it's a port of the arcade machine. |

When attempting to play this game using the "Roland" sound option for my MT-32 module, DOSbox completely crashes out. |

It seems there's two game named "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" one from Konami (Beat'em All) and one from Mirrorsoft (Platform). |
