I have no problems running Raptor on version 0.65.
The best cycles setup for me was between 14000 and 16000, at 17000 the sound stutters.
SFX and Music are played correct with Sound Blaster.
System is: Athlon64, Via based motherboard, Geforce 6800, Kubuntu 6.06.1 64bit, DosBox 0.65 from the repositories. |

If you use 10000 cycles, or even better 20000 cycles, the game works perfectly and you get loading which lasts seconds. It must be exact though. 5000 cycles either side and the game speed fluctuates a lot! |

Install program works on 0.65, just remember to mount it correctly and check that you do not have a faulty download. Worked great at my computer.
Use around 5-6000 cycles, normal cpu-emu, and the game runs flawlessly. Use gravis ultrasound for the sfx to work.
The game is however somewhat slow to startup, we're talking perhaps 30secs +, but once started it's all good.

I've been able to complete the entire game with the prerelease CVS version and it seemed just as playable with 0.60. |
