Runs slow on my laptop (Pentium Dual Core T4400 @ 2.20 GHz, 2 Gb RAM, 500 Gb HDD); for sound support configure the soundcard with DMA 5 instead of DMA 1 keeping the other values unchanged (220h, IRQ 5), for a emulated SoundBlaster 16.

How to play Rebel Moon in DOSBox ACTUALLY? (2011-12-11 13:47)

Dear Advocado007,

I really want to play the Rebel Moon game. I tried the steps of mounting and loading the game (Launch reb3d.bat or rebmoon.exe) via DOSBox (ver 0.74), but unfortunately, an error occurs:
DOS/4GW error (2001): exception 00h (divide by zero) at 1CB:000015DD (blah.. blah...)
(I tried to un-"read-only" the folder contents but no avail..)
How did you test the game anyway? Did the game must be in ISO format? I extracted the game from downloaded .rar file in one folder and renamed the folder as short as possible. Or it depends to current OS or specific drivers? I used Win 7/Vista currently.

Any help from you or other users is greatly appreciated.

Edit REB3D.BAT and change -3dblaster for -vga. Then launch using REB3D.BAT.
