runnable - playable - supported
DOSBox version: 0.60 (supported)
Works on Dosbox 0.65 (2006-07-07 18:24)
OnceTooMuch
It loads perfectly in 0.65, music and speech both work
It works but the speed is not always good! (2005-10-03 09:58)
MheAd
The CD-rip version (no speech) works but please have note that you have to run it from c:\touche directory.
The game works fine otherwise, except from few slowdowns that I'm experiencing on my computer (Athlon AMD 2000+), at spots where there are too many people on the screens (for instance streets of Paris and crowded tawerns in the cities). It's not huge slowdown and only graphic movement is effected (not sound).
hungarian works too (2005-08-18 03:08)
takysoft
MAN-biker's trick works with hungarian version too.
game is playable(i did not complete the game, but played it for a time, with no errors)
How to fix GERMAN version (and perhaps, all other versions)! (2004-11-12 03:41)
MAN-biker
All the same as in ENGLISH version, but this byte to replace located at offset 0x18018 (18018h).
In general (i hope in any other versions of this game too), you can search in TOUCHE.EXE bytes consecution "...11 00 00 75 09..." and replace "75" with "EB".

DOSBox 0.62 - music don't work now! (2004-10-26 13:56)
MAN-biker
Tried to run full CD-version of this game in DOSBox v0.62 - music don't work at all (but music works fine in v0.61).
About the CD-Rip... (2004-03-05 23:14)
Xorcist
I was only able to get the game running by storing the files in C:\Touche, and then mounting C: as C: under DosBox, then entering the Touche directory and running it from there. Using other directories and drives would start the game, but ultimately exit out before loading it up.

MAN-biker
Full and correct name of this game is
"Touché: The Adventures of the 5th Musketeer".
Developer - Clipper Software.
Cracked CD-RIP of his game works fine, but there is no speeches there.
Full version needs to fix one byte in main EXE (game don't works in DOSBox without this fix):
1. Copy all contents of CD to folder on HDD.
2. Open TOUCHE.EXE in any HEX-editor, go to offset 0x17ED4 (17ED4h) and replace "75" with "EB". SAVE FILE.
3. Run DOSBox and mount this folder as CD-ROM D: (or other).
4. Install & setup game as usual...
Now game must works without any troubles.
