Sound fx not working in 0.74 (2010-09-21 13:49)

I'm using the floppy Windows version of the game (no voice).

I immediately noticed that in 0.74, my sound effects no longer work. I've tried (sensibly) merging in the old configuration settings from 0.73 but no luck. Music works fine. Sound effects were working in 0.73.

I couldn't get it to run either (DosBox 0.72) (2008-05-31 05:48)

I'm running XP Pro with a Pentium 4. Go the same "error message" as the previous post. Bummer....I miss challenging my brain with this puzzle game.

Well my friend brought an old cd he had with The Even More Incredible Machine on it and i thought it would work but every time i try to run it, it says it needs to be run in Microsoft windows, so this version defintely does not work with dosbox.
