There are Issues! (2017-02-19 02:04)

I tested Windows 2.11. But there're issues. Windows 2.11 has 2 versions: Windows/286 and Windows/386.
In Windows/386, there are 2 ways to start Windows: win86 (8086 mode) and win386 (386 mode). When started in 386 mode, Windows says "High memory area in use" and refuse to start. I think Windows wants to use its own XMS driver. When started in 8086 mode, Windows starts successfully but warns that memory configuration has changed. the reason may be Windows thought it had XMS and should be run in 386 mode when installing but now it is started in 8086 mode instead.
In Windows/286, Windows automatically decide whether to run in 8086 mode or 286 mode. If installed without the XMS option (which is the default setting in DOSBox), Windows starts in 8086 mode and there're no problems. But if installed with the XMS option, Windows seems to try to start in 286 mode but fail and then start in 8086 mode with a warning saying memory configuration has changed. I think DOSBox's XMS is not recognized by Windows 2.11 286.

Installs fine, but you need to set the DOS version to 4.01 (type VER SET 4 01) to run Windows.

Windows 2.03 and 2.11 successfully installed on DOSBox 0.74 with full graphics and mouse support.
The DOS version must be set to 3.00 (command: ver set 3) for Windows to launch. The DOSBox default value (5), as well as the required value for Windows 1.x (3.3) will not work.
