Get edit from freedos (link)
Put it in a folder (eg. C:\dosz\)
Put this at the start of your autoexec
MOUNT X C:\dosz\
PATH=%PATH%;X:\
and do edit [filename].cfg
Done.
Alternatively, outside of DOSBOX
Open notepad
Open the file you want to edit
Done.
