Hexen: Beyond Heretic works perfect in DosBox 0.72. No problems with sound, graphics, or game speed. Modern Doom source ports like GZDoom support playing Hexen, as well as Strife and Heretic. It is usually more preferable to use those to play these games because it is ran natively under Windows and not through emulation.
