Heroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest is a turn-based strategy game.
Making it work
If you require support for general issues, see the performance guide and FAQ.
Testing
Works great with a basic install of DosBox. Sound is not choppy but no musique(if there is any!?), plays in window and full screen.
"Using D-fend Reloaded" Just add -go.bat- from the game's folder and run the Profile Wisard, then select default (cannon fodder) and Change the CPU Cycles to corect speed (around 6000 Cycles).
Frost (DosBox v0.72 on Windows XP-SP3)
HOMM (and it's sequel) may be purchased from GOG.com where it is preconfigured with DOSBox.
